Thanks Bob, ya it seems my mail does get out and I would figure I was just
ignored which is no big deal either. I rather enjoy reading other peoples view
on the Iraq situation, if nothing else its good entertainment. I doubt I will
be going back to Afghanistan since I am less than 2 years from retirement, and
to be truthful I'm getting too old for this crap anyway. 

I don't consider myself an expert on anything even though I have been called a
Subject Matter Expert on many military things. I will always believe that you
can always learn something, I teach Urban Tactics which is very similar to
what SWAT teams do, however when in practical use in conflict, we usually have
someone shooting at us unlike our civilian counter parts. Being a Master
Sergeant puts me at the top of the food chain in regards to the implementers
in the military and I can say I have learned more from my students than I have
from doctrine. I believe there is always different ways to approach
everything.
