[TVs in houses]

As usual Europe things happens later here in Europe. In my parents house
we did have a color tv in the early 90's (the time where I can remember
such things, or atleast did notice it). I had a B/W tv for a short period
in the mid 90's.

Aha, here the government radio commission granted television broadcast
in the 50's I guess. The first channel was also public service and driven
my the government. I guess this channel exists today called DR 1. If you
lived in northern germany you could probably see this channel if you
had an airal antenna.

Interesting. I cannot see what the motivation is for restricting the
broadcasting time.
