Strange, so far anything you have written when I read it here in GoldEd is
showing 2 0x0a chars at the end of each line so I get the doubled spacing. (I
exported the message to file and checked it in a hex editor.)

Same thing when viewing the message from inside Synchronet using the internal
reader. Makes me wonder if sbbsecho isn't doing something odd somewhere. The
mailers (your end or mine) should not be fiddling with linefeeds, if they get
translated somewhere it should be in either the message editor when it is saved
or by the tosser if it is so configured.

    Created new SBBSecho toggle option: Strip Line Feeds From Outgoing Messages
    (used to always do this, but some non-conforming echomail programs
apparently
    treat sole-carriage returns as soft-CRs and ignore/strip them).

It's in the echocfg.c file, almost 8 year old change now so your system should
have it.

Same version of sbbsecho as used here too, only difference is platform. Kind of
curious now since somehow (I am assuming) something may be taking the
CR/LF pair and converting it to a LF/LF pair. Now the question is what and
where that might be happening.

Sometime this weekend I'll poke around in the code here on my system and see if
there is anything obvious that might be doing it on import.  Sounds like Ward
was seeing it to so if it's happening on his board when he views the message my
suspicion would be it's happening on export from your end (no idea why) or
somewhere in between something is making translations that should not be doing
so.


Now this message from you back in November in FidoTest looks fine:

Not sure what happened between then and now, other than then you were zone 2
using GoldEd and now you're zone 1 writing from the board I assume.
