As you say, drugs or alcohol was her decision. I'll bet it wasn't her
decision to be fatally beaten to death. It seemed like a safe place with
the van der even saying good evening (morning) to the hotel clerk and all.

It isn't. It is a crime to extort or not provide that information after
receiving payment, this time by wire - meaning he's also guilty of wire
fraud.

He fled because he didn't want to get caught. Every criminal is afraid of
being caught. A trial, fair and impartial or not, is still an endangerment
to their freedom.
