On;u for the fifteen milliseconds it took to see that it brings no new evidence
in the Holloway disappearence.

He was detained for questioning several times. As were others.

The fact is that no one was cherged because no case could be made that would
stand up in court.

Inept and lazy? It seems to me that an extraordinary amount of tax payer's
money was spent to solve the case.

*MY* tax money I might add. More than enough of it was spend on a runawy
American spitfire for my taste.

Opinions ara like asre holes. Everyone has one. Don't confuse opinions with
evidence.

So the court decided he is not a nut case. Let that be noted.

If they try him on his confession, it can not be for murder, only for
manslaughter. he confessed to having killed het in a fit of rage. Possibbly ib
an attempt to avoid a murder charge and be charged with manslaughter instead.
That would reduce the maximum sentence to "only" fifteen years.

But they wanted to charge him for murder, so they *rejected* the confession.
They suspect he did not kill het in a fit of rage, but that it was
premeditated.

All guesswork. The Peruvian newspapers can not be expected to be objective.

Which is the standard procedure with any Dutch citizen getting in trouble in a
foreign country. You do not expect me to cough uo any more of my tax money on
this pathological liar do yo?

Obama not his successor have a say in it. The days of the US imperium have come
to an end. They have overstretched their capabilities with the unwinnable wars
in Iraq and Afghanisten and the price they will pay is that they no longer will
be the ones that can call the shots in this world.

No, he won't.

If it really takes 35 years for him to come out, the charge for extortion and
wire fraud will have expired. And as i explained, he can not be extradited to
the US for the Holloway case.
