Ärende: Putin Blinks
====================
Hi, Roy Witt!
I read your message from 13.09.2013 11:04
about Putin Blinks.

ak>> The prosperity of Japan and Germany can be explained by a more
ak>> simple thing -- after WWII they spend all their money to civilian
ak>> industry, because they were prohibited to have military forces.
RW> Not exactly true. Both of those countries have military forces.

They are very limited forces, designed to suppress their own people
should they upraise in communist way, which was probable at that time.
That was the reason why such limited forces were allowed. But, anyway,
they don't need great money allocations.

RW> What did tranpire was a plan to help both countries get back on
RW> their feet, which had worked very well. Meantime, the Iron Curtain
RW> erected by the Soviet Union blocked such evolution, until the fall
 RW> of the USSR.
ak>> No other country is guilty of their prosperity.
 RW> On the contrary.

There was help. But helping somebody to stand up is one thing, but
carrying somebody on your shoulder is another.

ak>> If the USSR had spent his money for civil purposes it would have
 ak>> probably built communism.

RW> It in fact did so. East Germany, among other eastern European
RW> nations all had communist regimes.

It is not the same -- a communist regime in a country after WW2 and a
country where communism has been built in reality (there was no such a
state).

The major problem of building communism is the fact that people of
"Socialist countries" didn't work for the sake of survival, when hunger
makes you work as hard as possible. As a result, we see that the
countries that built Communism had less effective economies. They had a
shortage of money to rise the level of living. But if the USSR had
refused from military spending and had concentrated on civil industry it
could have raised the level of life significantly. It is clear.

RW> LOL! Japan surrendered to US forces on August 12... IF there were
RW> any Japanese troops left in Korea or China at the time, they were
RW> told of the truce and the end of the war. Rather than read Russian
RW> history books written by the former USSR and even taught in Russia
RW> today, you need to get ahold of reality.

In reality, the major battles between the USSR with Japan on the
continent (in China and Korea) had continued until August 20, and in
some places, until September 10 (the day when Japan forces on the
continent had finally capitulated).

ak>> Do you really think that it was the US who defeated Japan in China
 ak>> and Korea?
RW> It surely wasn't the USSR... and that's a fact.

Japan forces on the continent had about 1 million soldiers.

ak>> Besides that, during the WWII, Japan made the USSR keep enormous
ak>> amount of troops at Far East, weakening its army which fought with
 ak>> Hitler.
 RW> Fools, all.

Why -- Japan was a faithful ally of Hitler. It always wanted to
capture all the Far East of Russia. It was very natural to await for its
aggression. The USSR could have "second front" in its rear.

ak>> For the USSR, it meant additional losses of lives. So, although
ak>> Japan didn't actively fought with the USSR until 1945, it actually
ak>> did fight with it indirectly, having provided big help for
 ak>> Hitler's troops.
 RW> LOL!

As I as told you, along the border with the USSR at Far East there
were one million Japanese soldiers. Probably, the same amount soldiers
was kept on the side of the USSR.

WD>>>>> BTW, I'm certain the USA has'm also despited having signed and
 WD>>>>> rattified the relevant treaties.
ak>>>> So, it is fact that rebels have chemical weapon.
RW>>> That has yet to be proven... Assad says they do, but it may or
RW>>> may not be true. I would tend not to believe anything a person
RW>>> such as Assad has to say, when it is quite clear that he has
RW>>> killed women & children for no good reason.

ak>> Nobody kills women & children for no good reason.

RW> Ever hear of collateral damage? If Assad even thought that the
RW> rebels had hidden among a civilian area with women and children
RW> present, he wouldn't and didn't hesitate to attack them with
 RW> chemical weapons.

Assad has known "Obama's red line condition" perfectly well. Assad is
the first person who is not interested in intervention. He has done all
he can to prevent it, so he cannot use the chemical weapon while the
situation is stable and safe. No reason and no gains.

<skipped>
ak>> You must understand that killing 1400 civilians could not help him
ak>> to win the war, in any way. That's why he could not do it. No
ak>> reason. But some rebels do have reason to frame Assad.

RW> You mean, Assad attempted to, and is still trying to, frame the
 RW> rebels...

It would have been too clumsy act if he had wanted to frame the
rebels. If he had wanted to frame them he would have ordered his people
to put on the revels uniform and to fire a rocket from the area held by
rebels. All the city is dug by underground holes, and it is not very
difficult task for special forces.

In other words, when you frame somebody you should assume the
measures to ensure so that other people don't blame you instead of
somebody. ;-)

<skipped>
RW> Don't believe anything that moron says. The fact is that UN
RW> inspecters have 'on the ground' investigators that have uncovered
 RW> the truth.

If it was a provocation nothing may be discovered. Yes, it is
possible to prove that zarin was used, but it is hardly possible to find
a culprit. But the main, good question of any investigation is still is:
To whom this attack was profitable?" And certainly this person is not Assad.

Bye, Roy!
