It started out very plainly about "the healthcare thing".. so much so, it
provided some excelent fodder for comedians round-the-clock there for a while.

Matter of fact, I wouldn't doubt some ancient republican saw the reasoning in
increasing the ante just because of some of those comedic spots.. like that
that Jimmy Kimmel  provided where people on the street were asked which they
preferred, "Obama's Healthcare", or "The Affordable Care Act".  Go to my blog
to see the clip.  People, or should I say those who reject Obama care are well,
something else.

Sure, parts of the country, certainly those in republican territory are saying
and have been saying, it will cost millions... and no one has been able to
prove that.

Meanwhile, for us in NY, while it will cost about the same as it does _right
now_,  BUT our coverage will be 100X better than it is now with no copays.  We
make a lot of $$.. it should cost us something, it doesn't bother us.  What
bothers us NOW is that for about the same $$ every month, we now pay for a
policy with a $60.00 copay every time I see my neurologist (even his office
can't believe the copay amount we pay). With our regular doc, the copay is
$45.00..

Want to know how much our Insurance company had to spend on my last visit to my
neuro?  We checked, and it cost Aetna $2.00 (two dollars).  Meanwhile I paid
that $60.00 copay, plus the monthly fee..

Have you checked out "the exanges"?  I bet your cost will be lower than you're
paying now for the same service.. or if it's the same cost, you won't have to
pay the same kind of copays just like us. Just a guess.

I have to agree, Judge Judy would indeed believe that Obamacare would be an
example of the Gov't serving the people.
