A drug I take now is billed at over $20,000/per unit. That's on an average
of twice a month (every two weeks). I pay a $20 copay while Aetna, who is
managing my Medicare account, pays the practioner $6k when it's all said
and done. That doctor has learned a thing or two about billing to get paid
a fair price for his materials and services and I don't blame him for
doing so. My only wish is that he didn't have to do that because of the
Obama administration's screwing the people with his socialism.

Reason given? Are you under the care of a doctor of your own choice or
are you forced to use a network doctor? Since when is it Aetna's choice
to give you their 2nd opinion? I'd get one from a doctor of my own choice
in any case.

They're just going by what the Unaffordable Healthcare Act has done to the
medical practice. Many doctors refusing to take new patients due to the
Obama-scare plan, many more are taking cash only. My doctor continues my
coverage because it is Medicare and not Obama-scare.  Both my doctor and
my RN sister know what's coming, they're not very happy about it because
of the high costs of premiums and the worse health care that will be
coming with those premiums.

Apparently not. I've checked them out too and I'm very glad that I won't
have to put up with Obama-scare.
