BFD...That turbo turned out to be a detriment to the cars reputation, not
an asset. As was the engine oil pan/transaxle case combo.

For mechanics to make profits in mechanical repairs.

If this car company was so great, why did it go belly up when it was
turned loose by GM? Certainly the best car in the world would be selling
like hot cakes. And this after receiving the "Royal Warrant" from the
"King of Sveden"...

"Royalty"

Royal Warrant is an appointment bestowed on a company with the right to
use the King's name in advertising. So much for the expertise of Royalty
in Sveden...(you may bow to your king now)

That's debateable. Sveden's best (per Ward) was slower than the worst (per
Ward) American fighter, and less manuverable as well. i.e. the Svede
fighter weighed twice as much as the American version and used two engines
where the American fighter only had one engine.

Saab wasn't worth a shit in the first place, so it was inevitable that it
would go under. GM bought it in hopes of resurrecting it to make a profit.
If Svedes didn't buy Saabs, it was bound to die.
