You know...if it had been up to me we wouldn't have had much of anything to do
with Europe after WWI. In fact, at the beginning of WWI, my message to the
Kaiser would have been; `you leave us alone, and we'll leave you alone'. Which
probably would have precluded any WWII. The Kaiser would have won WWI, most of
the nations you are posting from over there would be speaking German today,
and Hitler would have been nothing but some idiot street waif, painting post
cards for meals.


We pulled your butts out of two world wars. We ended the terror reign of the
Nazis in most of the countries you people are posting from.


And for many decades we kept the communist Russians from over-running, or
bombing into powder, the vast majority of those same countries.

An `ambassador'? To one of `your' countries? I wouldn't even send one there!
I'd tell you to mind your OWN problems, there wouldn't be any *United Nations*
in my country at all if it were up to me. I'd kick all your asses out of here
and tell you to mind your own problems and leave me to mind mine.


If the USA had all the money and machinery we've expended keeping some of your
countries from be overrun by the Soviet Union, we probably wouldn't have a
huge national debt today. If the US had stopped all monetary foreign aid after
WWII, pulled all our troops out of Europe and Japan, and just minded our own
business when the Soviets and communist Chinese overran your asses, we'd be a
lot better off in this country right now.


I wouldn't have given two bits worth of `give-a-damn' if all your countries
had been conquered by the Kaiser. Or the Russians, either for that matter.


We developed the worlds' first atomic weapons. And used them to end the war in
the South Pacific. I deeply regret we didn't have them ready in time to drop
one right in the middle of Berlin.


I don't feel any `guilt' about us dropping the two atomic devices on Japan at
all. `Screw' them! They messed with the wrong country that time.


As for you Europeans...I've seen old news reels on our military channel where
you people were throwing flowers, pouring wine, and hugging and kissing our
troops as they rolled into a town or city they'd just liberated from some
Waffen SS Panzer Corp. I imagine those old news reels are something of an
embarassment to you now. Makes it a little hard to `hate' us so much.


I don't care if you hate us. I don't think a whole lot of most of you, either.
