I happen to like beef. Pork, too. In fact, I make my own Italian sausage and
German bratwurst. It isn't all that hard, just a pain in the ass to clean up
the mess afterwards, especially the meat grinder.


Anyway, the main portion ofthe population doesn't seem to notice that we've
now gone from *Global Warming* to *Climate Change*, and *Climate Change* is
now the clarion call-to-arms of the global warming lemmings.


Recently some idiot `philosophy' assistant professor called for the jailing of
anyone who `denies' climate change! Not a joke! Which makes one wonder what
global warming-cum-climate change, and philosphy have to do with each other!

See....the climate on this planet changes from time to time, with the `time'
to `time' being periods of long duration. Far longer than Man has been either
keeping records, OR even been civilized. Some of the ancient cities which have
been discovered under deep coverings of sand and dirt, are a testiment to how
both weather patterns and conditions can change so rapidly as to overtake
people and creatures so quickly they don't even get a chance to digest the
food in their stomaches, before whatever disaster overwhelms them.

Anyone who has studied the Sun at any length knows the Sun drives the majority
of our weather patterns, both by its surface activity and interior activity,
as well as the tiny `adjustments' of Earth's orbit around the Sun, that take
place from time to time (again...the `time' being of very long duration).


Earth's orbital path does not stay `exactly' the same from century to century,
and in some distant past, although the Earth's distance from the Sun's center
was basically the same, the Sun's `surface' was closer to the Earth (its
diameter was greater), the Sun was a bit hotter than it is now due to it
`settling' into its normal lifespan, and both its surface heat and internal
activity, determine Earth's weather patterns.


By the way...The Earth's axial `tilt' in relation to the Sun also changes from
year to year, in a 23,000 year cycle. This is evidenced by the slowly-changing
position of the North Star, which today is Polaris. A few thousand years from
now, the star used for dead-reckoning navigation won't be Polaris. In fact,
for awhile there won't BE any `North Star'.


In any case, the so-called *Global Warming* hue-and-cry, and its successor,
*Climate Change*, are a leftist democrat, and  socialist way of scaring the
common people into not complaining about where their tax money disappears to;
Into the black hole of made-up `science', upon which un-needed facilities,
meaningless `indepth' studies, and otherwise-empty careers are financed. I'd
make an educated guess that, without the so-called `global warming' scare to
hang their hats on, many long term careers, retirement benefits, wasted funds
on meaningless equipment and more indepth`studies' would not exist.


As proven by the East Anglia e-mail exposure, its all a gigantic hoax. But,
not to let a great source of money go to waste, the democrats here in America
have grabbed the ball, changed the name from *Global Warming* to *Climate
Change* (which, by the way, is completely meaningless, as the *climate*
changes all the time), and are back up on the band wagon.


Just recently, the U.S. Senate held an all-nighter' on the subject, led by all
the usual blithering idiots; Barbara Boxer, Brian Schatz, Sheldon Whitehouse,
backed by Harry Reid, Feinstein, Schumer, both idiots from Massachusetts, and
a whole list of others.


Back in January they started a group called (get ready, folks) `Senate Climate
Action Task-force! (Not a joke!)


By the way....I wonder if this group of idiots are aware that the acronym of
their group is *SCAT*! The nice way of saying *SHIT*! An apt name for this
group, I think!


Harry Reid said that `climate change' is a `question of our own survival'. He
went on to say we `have a responsibility to act before its too late'!


What he DOESN'T say is `what we should do'!


In fact, there's NOTHING to be done. There's not one single thing the U.S.
Senate of any other governing body in the world can do to alter our weather
patterns. Nothing!


People have no idea just how fragile life on this Planet is. Only within the
last couple of years, we have had some pretty close calls in the way of huge
asteroids that came within a `hairs breadth' of striking the Earth at full
force. And, a million miles or so in astronimical terms qualifies as `a hairs'
breadth'! The last one was just recently.


Asteroids and comets visit the Solar System all the time. The most recent
comet swung around the Sun and was broken up by the Sun's surface heat and its
gravitational shear forces.


It was determined that that particular comet had come though the Ssolar System
several million years ago, but this time its orbital path, as well as the
Sun's new position (the Sun along with its `Solar Syatem', `moves' in an orbit
around the Milky Way's Galactic center of gravity in a 250,000,000 year
orbital period), nrought it too close to the Solar surface, and it was
destroyed.


The Al Gore's and Harry Reid's of the world can do nothing whatever to change
Earth's weather patterns. Its all a big con job, and succeeds because there's
so many low-information voters out there who aren't smart enough to look it up
for themselves!
