Read the above for comprehension...It was a sysop typo that made DB give
it up. Once corrected, she was able to areafix two echoes, no problem,
using a standardized areafix, as in FD, FE and DB...she'll probably
areafix more echoes as her interest if Fidonet grows.

You know, one each of those two old world programs you're in love with,
plus a Canadian (read 'still supported') program (although of the same
era, still alive and well).

All three of those follow a psuedo standard that, as you know, has been
working for at least two decades, if not longer.

Here's some help about how you can use AreaFix to change your echomail
areas.

You just have to write a message to 'AreaFix' and tell AreaFix what he has
to do for you.

>Did you notice the absence of that %ALL/%+ALL crap? And the presence of *
>and -* that does a better job, not to mention, shorter command than %ALL

Instead of %QUERY, %INFO, %LIST, %UNLINKED, %AVAIL and %RESCAN, you can
also specify '-Q', '-I' , '-L', '-U', '-A' and '-R' as flags after the
password.

Example: password -Q -L -A
