So... you think that during your tenure as IC, as short-lived as it was, the
ZCC was a "powerful entity, and yet you deny their discussions and decicions?

That sir, is real power.  When people work together, THAT is power.  It is no
individual ZC or IC that holds any "power".  That was something I thought you
learned from your eh.. bad experience as IC.  We chose to ignore your listing
as IC as you well and surely know. You had no "power" whatsoever as a "paper"
IC.

4 voices spoke out... I wouldn't call that a "goner".  I still have the ZCC
conference archive released by Renato Zambon, then Z4C, on my system at
http://www.filegate.net/info/zcc2004.zip if you need to refresh your memory.

The ZCC decided after it's bad experience with you that the position of IC was
not necessary -  And that is still true.  Each ZC has for years and YEARS
produced it's own nodelist for it's respective Zone, and when questions come up
requiring the acknowledement of all the existing ZCs, that subject is tackled
in the ZCC conference and discussed.

Ha! Not according to the _4_ voices expressed by the ZCs at the time!  You can
attempt to deny the reality of that situation, but no matter.  4 voices
examined the evidence and decided that your attempt to force Roy to accept
direct calls from 'unknown' callers like Michiel van der Vlist was wrong, when
routed netmail was available.

Personally, I think the last straw after all of that, that led to your demise
as IC was 1) your attempt to force Steven Leeman to give up ownership of
Fidonet.be (do the words, "I AM THE INTERNATIONAL COORDINATOR!" ring a bell?)
under threat of Steven being excommuicated from the nodelist, and 2) your
attempt to reinvent the method by which ZCs votes were counted.

When you tried to instill a percentage method of voting amongst the ZCs where
Z2C's vote was of such a ridiculously high percentage, the IC would remain in
that chair for life...we, all of us as ZCs at the time, said, "No".  Thankfully
the vote to remove you as IC had already been counted and published in
Fidonews.
