Most of that is true, but the feds set the lower minimum wage. When a
worker enters his place of employment he'll find next to the time clock
there are federal notices of employee rights, which include federal
minimum wage rates.

I wouldn't know. The last time I got paid minimum wage was when I was a
senior in high school and that was 65 cents/hr. AFter graduation, I got a
raise that made my wage $1.05/hr, but I had to work 40hrs/wk to get it.
This was as a Produce Manager in a now defunct National Tea grocery store.

Funny how that works. That's how I kept employees that weren't worth their
salt, just to do the shit work; like sweeping the floors and cleaning the
toilets. It sure beat having to pay them and pay employer taxes at the
same time.
