As if the big companies are paying anything now? You missed the point with
regard to how companies impliment these policies.  Do you not think they have
an overstaffed accounting department looking for every penny they can squeeze
even though the employees can't squeeze enough to put food on the table.  I
don't understand where you came up with "minimum wage".  No where did I mention
it in my statement.  All I said was companies aren't paying employees their
"worth".

I have a better solution.  Instead of printing $ why not make the dollar
stronger.  Instead of paying $4 for a gallon of gas, make it $2.  The simple
cycle of raising wages will as you said increase costs which are offset by the
printing of more $.

Tell me something, why is it, on an equal scale of dollars to dollars,
Austrailia can have a minimum wage of $15+/hour and yet a Big Mac only costs
$0.42 more to buy?  Why in a recent study by the Federal Reserve Bank of
Chicago concluded that, following an increase in the minimum wage, spending by
households with at least one minimum-wage worker increased by $700 per quarter
which will certainly offset the supposed added expense of higher wages. You
see, more $ on the street, more $ gets spent. Right now there are college
educated employees out there working for minimum wage when surely their level
of "worth" is much higher.  I ask you, could you live on $15,080/year? A two
person household of say a single parent and child would fall below the poverty
line of $15,130.  Therefore, those who pay taxes must suppliment that income
(coming out of YOUR pocket), which is basically giving corporations another
break. Do you realize Walmart makes more $ in one year than the lower 40% of
Americans combined? 

Why is it also documented when corporate tax is at a higher rate the country
does better fiscally?

It's a balancing act.  Those who oppose an increase are not taking into account
the increased ability to purchase goods and services.  Supply and Demand.  More
people want, more people need to be hired to supply. That's basic economics. 
Stop believing the "entertainment" you're getting on FauxNews.  

Regarding the AHA, many people are paying much lower premiums and receiving
more in return.  You must live in a state where the governor decided to drop
Medicaide extensions so in theory, blame your state government over the higher
premiums, not the bill.
