that the contents can contain traces of peanuts, just to make sure nobody with

Situation's the same with me, no food allergies to my knowledge.

The wierd part is that I'm a chemist and have worked with chemicals for many
years (including things like amine hardeners for epoxies) that are _highly_
allergenic to many people. I once had a lab assistant who couldn't enter a lab
where such materials were being worked on in a fume hood at least 20 feet from
the door - he'd break out with red pustles. We had to assign him to another job
where he was well away from such materials.

On the other hand, I'm highly allergic to pollen, particularly grass and birch.
The synthetic stuff (chemicals) doesn't bother me a bit, but the natural stuff
really gets to me - crazy, isn't it? ;-)

P.S. Just as an aside, I'm continuously amazed at what I read about chemicals
in the local paper here in Datteln (even in syndicated articles, no local
people involved). There was one article about building insulation in which it
was claimed that phenolic resin bonded insulation was hazardous to workers
because it could "give off formic acid when the insulation contacted sweat".
Chemically impossible. In another article, a criminal in the region wanted to
kill his wife by injecting her with "hydrocyanic acid made by mixing tobacco
with water" ;-))) Naturally, there is no way you can get hydrocyanic acid from
tobacco. The worst you could get would be a dilute nicotine solution, which is
poisonous, but not in the same class as hydrocyanic acid.

There appears to be little if any knowledge about even common chemistry in the
general population, although there's certainly enough talk about "poisonous"
chemicals (that generally aren't).
