Heh, that reminds me of a long time ago, back when I was nice and young, and on
BBS's. I had a friend that just happened to be named David Eddings. No joke,
the very same name as the popular book author for fantasy novels. Back then
there was a echo feed for authors/books, too, and he was happily there, however
he got flack because people claimed he was a fake. He had to argue the facts
that he was actually truely named that. 

We actually ultimately had a Sysop meet and greet one day, and he proved it to
the local sysops with his ID. heh heh. None of them really doubted it, but the
drama got so thick that they were happy to see the facts. After that, things
cleared up rather quickly.
