Not necessarily, I have done similar things in some past. RC17 merely
demonstrated what was expected of him.

The probability of a 33% result can statistically be heavily debated.
 
I understand that the prospect of a conspiracy theory is exciting, but you're
barking up the wrong tree.
 
Some of my roots lie in volunteer-driven initiatives in the
environment-protection movement as well as in gymnastics. With all the big
names fishing for the credit, it doesn't happen without the anonymous volunteer
donating his/her time and not getting any compensation for it, being in words
or in kind.
 
I learned we had to be thankful there are volunteers. They are a scarce but
valuable resource.
 
Fidonet is 100% volunteer driven.
 
Why the other zones? Once again "why not the other zones?"  Where's the harm?
Were I to address just Z2 RCs, the remark could have been "Are Z2 RCs better in
your view that you're limiting yourself just to them?".
 
Consider the whole of the message. It reads somewhere ..
 
    I am therefore asking you to work with your constituents and come up with
    a "yes" for every candidate.
 
I am not telling "you must vote 'yes'", but merely "work towards a 'yes'" with
a main underlying thought being not to lose any of those valuable resources. If
the constituency comes up with something else, well ... so be it.
 
Once again, no RC in Z3 or Z4 complained, as a matter of fact, the only real
statement came from a ZC even, not an RC.
 
Have you also remarked that not a single person has publically said something
positive about the performance of the candidates ... except me? No "Thank you
for hanging-in there and being available" ?
