Old trick... many turkeys and hams walk out during the holidays.  Harder to
waddle out with flatscreens now.

If only the dumpsters were outside... most walmart's have compactors that
destroy anything put in them pretty thoroughly.  To prevent that same thing
from happening.

I've booked dozens of employee thefts and it is usually theft by retaining
recepits from other customers and stealing the items by walking out with proof
of purchase and later returning the item for cash.  95% of these idiots get
caught though.

In that case we can argue reasonable suspicion.  The good thing about those
stores is they can watch video of people walking in... and video of them
walking out.  The software they use is sophisticated enough to identify those
who have different shoes on the way out... (if the viewscreen operator is
paying attention)

However there's a store in Europe called HEMA and I rather like the way they
treat their shoplifters aka Winkeldiefs
