Norman Thomas was also a socialist.  And he ran for president not
once, but several times.  His ideas were so popular that Democrats
*and* Republicans stole them and used them in their own campaigns.
But Bernie Sanders wants to make it all about himself.  That is
the difference between Sanders and Thomas.

Bernie is Donald Trump's best friend.

Bernie is not the anti-Trump.  He may think he is, but he is not.
That honor belongs to Joe Biden.  But Joe is not running.  Unless
Obama tells him to.  And so far, Obama has chosen to stay out of
it.

Oh, I am sure he believes every word he says.  He is his own
True Believer.  The Truest of all True Believers.

Unless you are a comedian doing a skit, a politician running
for president has to have a huge ego.  So that is not necessarily
a bad thing.  But there are limits.  Even the Donald is finding
that out.  :)

Tea Party fanatics are True Believers in their cause.  They were
told a bunch of empty promises, and look at the damage they have done
to the Republican Party.  They totally destroyed the leadership of
the Republican Party, in both houses of Congress.  They created
such a mess that the Democratic president was able to get everything
he wanted despite a majority Republican Congress and conservative
Supreme Court - including Obamacare.

What do you think would happen to the Democratic Party if Bernie
Sanders is elected president?  The Democratic Party had a shellacking
in 2010 due to Obama's policies, as Republicans took control of both
houses of Congress.  You do realize there will be Congressional
elections in 2018?  Say Goodbye Democratic Party.

On the other hand, Donald Trump could do the very same thing for the
Republican Party.  In 2018 it will be Say Goodbye Republican Party.

There is a third possibility.  The Libertarians could take control of
everything and leave us without a government.  Wouldn't that be fun?

Don't laugh.  It could happen.  The Libertarian Ticket is already
polling over 10 percent in national polls.

I don't think Libertarians care one way or another what happens
in a person's bedroom.  Or bathroom.

game.  As have most other sysops around the world.

Before you get your feathers all ruffled, please know that I am

do not have power to file a policy complaint against those who have
done me wrong.  But then, on the other hand, neither do they have
the power to file a policy compaint against me.
