It is not so much about power, but a perception.  Or misperception
in this case.  A lowly nodelist clerk wants others to believe that
she has the power of god.  But except for a handful of lackeys in
her own pocket, the rest of the world isn't buying.

What power?  The power to maintain a nodelist that nobody cares about?
Anybody can create and maintain a nodelist.  Anybody.  Who is to say
that a nodelist has to be a nodelist created and maintained by one
specific person?  If I stand up and say I am King of the Hill, does
that mean that all must obey my command?  You do remember how to play
the game, don't you?

Power resides in the ability to coerce or persuade others to do
the work that one desires, so as not to have to do the job oneself.
If others refuse to abide by her wishes, she has no powers of
coercion or persuasion.  So how does she get others to do what
she desires?

Ted Cruz endorsed Donald Trump yesterday.  Do you think Ted Cruz
has any love for Donald Trump, given what Trump had said about Cruz'
father?  No.  A deal was made.  Cruz did not offer his endorsement
for free.  There was a cost.  Of course, Trump will never reveal
any of the details, or even admit a deal was made.

Used to drive folks like Joe Stalin nuts.  But at least he tolerated
