One has to have an appreciation for classical music to enjoy Fantasia.

Perhaps he had personal experience with a blind person in his life. Having
a 'manic depressive' in my life certainly gave me some insight into the
so-called mentally ill problems that some familys go thru.

Since you couldn't read it in its published format, you didn't know what

Meanwhile, the more recent Nick Cage film version doesn't.

RW> Yeup, been there, adn stepped across the river there <grin>. The Paul

RW> irreverent too, which was right up this wild pre-teen's alley. YOu

LOL! My friend Andrew (47yo) came over for a visit last night and I had
chosen a movie on TV to watch, which was about teenagers in the 1950s. He
has a habit of commenting on trivial things in films and kept telling me
that this or that was fake or non-compliant with the 1950s. I finally had
to ask if he 'lived the 50s', because what I was seeing was damned close
to what I experienced in that era. This last one was about long hair and
nobody in the 50s had hair that long. Needless to say that I did! So I
jumped on his shit and asked him where he got his 1950s living experience.
His reply was that he saw pictures of his mom and uncle, both teens at the
time. Neither of them had hair or clothes to match the 50s in those
photos. I told him that his mom and uncle grew up in Minnesota, more like
squaresville in that era. Which is what real teens of the time would
consider farmers, aka clod hoppers...he finally shut up.
