Countries are like candy bars.  Or rather, the brand name of candy
bars.  If an individual does not like one particular brand of candy
bar, he/she can easily find a brand that one likes.  The same thing
with Fidonet zones.  However, a handful of folks (we know who they
are) try to keep certain individuals (we know who they are) from
fleeing from zone 1 to the land of freedom (we know where that is).

I give 'em away for free to groupies at concerts and minstrel shows.
And if you ask real nice, I'll even autograph 'em.  The groupies,
I mean.  They really do like those autographs.  On their heads, on
their boobs, on their bottoms, they don't care.  Which is why I make
sure to give away as many t-shirts as can be given away ...

Mardi Gras is almost here.  And you know what that means.  Women.
Lots of women.  And also cross-dresssers who make themselves look
like women.  Being women, and women look-alikes, they never give
anything away for free.  Somehow, they get guys to invite them on
balconies in the French Quarter, and get all the drinks they want
for free.  Not only that, but these ladies have also figured out
how to get Mardi Gras beads without ever having to attend a parade.
Step out onto a balcony, ask the guys in the streets below to
"Throw me something, Mister!" to grab their attention, and then
listen to them say the magic words - "Show your tits!" - while
teasing them so as to get them nice and horny - and then at just
the right moment when the cops are looking the other way - lift
up their top so the crowd gets a nice look - and watch those beads
come in.  And then, if the cops are headed their way, run like
hell.  Not that the cops would ever find them.
