i dunno... there are seemingly (misguided??) others who feel similarly... kinda
like some who poll every minute not stopping to think that the existance of
their semaphore in the mail can easily cause the tosser to bypass packing their
mail and making it available for their system... why? so the tosser doesn't
update a file that is being transferred causing lost mail or stuck polling
processes or similar...

as long as both parties are OK with it, then things are just fine and it is
none of anyone else's business...
