I could not make this stuff up.  Not in a million years.

As if that is not enough, check this out -

While the two statements by Dana Bell can appear to be a contadiction
in terms, they are not.  What she is referring to is a preference for
democratic ideals as opposed to anti-democratic ideals.

The One Who Will Not Be Named claims that the only echolist that
counts is the echolist maintained by the One That Has Been Blessed
by The One Who Will Not Be Named.

Dana Bell disagrees, as she states quite clearly that anybody and
everybody can set up and maintain the echolist.  And that is with her
own blessing, as she has made her ECHOBASE program free for all.

Actually, to be honest, Dana Bell's ECHOBASE program is three programs
all wrapped into one.  Echolist keepers can use the program to maintain
an elist, moderators can use the program as a means of updating their
entries, and individuals (sysops, participants and lurkers) can use the
program to query the current database (assuming it is current, as they
are the only ones truly responsible for maintaining entries).

And yes, Dana Bell does give proper credit to those who developed
the program before her, as the ECHOBASE program is patterned after
the ELIST system by Mike Fuchs.
