Hundreds of thousands of Japanese soldiers participated in the murder of a fair
share of the Chinese population. Willingly ... they kept score, had killing
competitions to see who could kill the most which was daily reported upon by
Japanese newspapers.
 
Japanese-Chinese relations are still affected by it, the Turks are still
denying having murdered over one million Kurds despite proof staring them in
the eyes ... while the countries of Israel and Germany have come to terms.

Those trials were of the highest legalistic order and well documented. They
were not mock trials but carried out along a number of lines which are
exemplary of a civilised society.
 
Not everybody got executed, some got jail sentences, some even got released and
declared innocent as per the charges filed.

Saddam needed to be killed, and quickly. Just like Osama bin Laden.

It so happens I knew the man who grabbed Eichmann from the street and wrestled
him into a car, the late Peter Malkin. It was a pleasure feeling the raw hands
that did the deed and to be able to say "Thank you".
 
Eichmann got what he denied 6 million others ... a trial ... a chance to defend
himself ... even an appeal to the judgement.

It was a statement by Jean-Jacques Rousseau ... famous French phylosopher.
 
"La vengeance est un plat qui se mange froid".
