If it were me, figuring out how to get the camels home(or sell them there for a
tidy profit), I'd've answered my wife with, "I know these Arab chieftans can be
dangerous futhermuckers, so I was trying to think of the best way to deny him
without arousing his murderous ire.  I finally realized simplicity would be the
least offensive."

Let's look at their lifestyle:
No premarital sex.

No oral sex. Giving or receiving. Never.

No booze. None.

No TV. No cable TV.

No Spice channel. No Playboy channel.

No organized sports of any kind. That's right -- no sports.

Rags for clothes and hats.

Bar-B-Q's are cooked over burning camel dung chips.
