INdeed, can relate.  When I moved to St. Louis I was glad to have it nearby,
just didn't have a lot of discretionary
income for radio gear back then <g>.  NTO that i do now, but then was even
tighter.

We look through the aes catalogue when it shows up, but
that's about it.  I haven't even got one of those for
awhile.  USed to get them all the time in NEw Orleans.  I
guess because once i moved here I was buying from MEmphis
Amateur but then they closed up.

YEah there's a guy around MEmphis that's that way too,
including 7/8 inch hard line.  That place I bought 1k feet
from in NEw Orleans used to sell in smaller lots, but then
when they quit I just bought the spool.

A lot of this hadn't been up before i got here that long, I
think a couple of lengths that had been up for quite awhile
in N.O. got discarded.  The rest was still in good shape, so it got used.  I
need to think about replacement of some of
it though fairly soon, probably pretty old.  The piece that
is on the dual band omni has been up there now since '09.  I think it had been
used for awhile in NEw Orleans too then
stowed in the shed when we moved to Slidell.
