And me. The Bible, The Torah, the Koran, etc  are filled with parables 
and stories, and though some do, are not always to be taken literally.
For example,  I believe Adam and Eve are really symbols of a greater theme.
You can take anything and joke about it, if this is what gives you
pleasure. 
(Not implying that it does). But try to put into words your take on God and 
life in the effort to convey such meaning.  Then try doing it so that a 
simple farmer or peasant will understand or relate to it.  This is the 
challenge the writers of any religious precept were faced with.

Not a chance.  Tell me where it is written that if I call someone a 
moron that I have violated some religious pretext. Especially if the 
'bright guy' has it coming.

Yes, criticism of your beliefs.  Tell me about the 'something' you were
referring to.  I don't think I've seen it around here.

Yes it does. I will fight fire with fire whenever I see fit and let anyone 
try to show me where I have violated any religious or moral precept,
without putting forth their own.   And from what precept where you just 
'speaking' to me from?  If you're gonna take a stand you better have some
sort of leg to stand on. (Unlike some armchair critics who sit and point 
a finger from afar.)

Actually, you've been, uh, 'not so ultra', but if you have any "clues"
that weigh in on these matters, let's hear them.  Isn't that what this 
conference is set up for?  ie.Religious and theological discussion? 
(Or Religious v.theological discussion.)  Sometimess I get the impression
that this is the FOOD-FIGHT! conference.
