Oh, and the other thing I forgot, was for looking inside archives, 
deb/rpm/tar.gz/tar.bz2/zip etc. ...

If it cannot do that, then it does not have much use ...

Noticed that the BBS was down, just before having to leave for work, and due 
to LILO giving me a "partion" error, I thought the HDD had gone west/south  
... , or whatever. It being a Saterday, when opportunity presented itself, I 
contacted the 4 normally reliable and trusted suppliers in town (the folks who 
will send you a Seagate HHD when you order one, and not a Maxtor or other 
brand) i.e. you order a Seagate, you get a Seagate, and if they don't have 
they tell you straight out "Sorry" No one had any HDD's in stock, not even a 
Maxtor HDD, but all where willing to order me a HDD on Monday, what is wrong 
with ordering a HDD on a Saturday, I ask ... , not that I have money to waste, 
but I was willing to pay normal prices and maybe a little more, if I could 
have gotten one ... <the wife would have killed me ...> <but I'd have had my 
system running again> <grin>

But they don't have, and they can only order on Monday ... <SHEESH> sorry
