Hello Maurice.

16 Nov 08 14:45, you wrote to me:

While it is doing well enough with 512M RAM, I want to max it out at 2Gig. as
that is all the board will take, as a sort "life" lengthening "insurance", as
I tend to hang onto my equipment a long time past Intel/AMD's "use by" dates,
and I have decided this one will stay here, and not get passed on ...

My current favourite for browsing is FireFox, but I have an application that
insits on starting SeaMonkey, when it displays HTML content, thought this was
a bit annoying, at first, but, the more I look at SeaMonkey, the more I find
to like about it ... , I do however find IceWeasel a little limiting ... , tho
I have only started using that recently on the Debian box ... , also not that
impressed with Epiphany, also on Debian ...

Will see how that pans out ....

If I had the money, I'd be very tempted to get one of those ... , looked for
an Atom board without success here ... , don't really have the money for that
either, but if I could find a supplier, I'd try hard to get one ... :-)

Well, I still need to build myself a "homebrew" firewall/internet gateway box
here, and as I see it, I either base this on a small Debian install, or
ttylinux, so this news is appreciated here ... , when time allows, I am
reading up on iptables and iproute2, trying to wrap my head around both, and
iptables is starting to make sense of a sort here, after a few more reading, I
will probably start playing with iptables on the Debian box ... , and see what
I can do there ...

MK> Please send my best wishes to your wife.

Will do, when I see her this afternoon, she will be going for and angiogram
later this morning ... , otherwise she is still stable, but still has an
irregular heart beat ...

Thanks,

Russell
