Hello Maurice.

09 Dec 08 01:21, you wrote to me:

Nope, don't have it, but I was refering to Dan Ceppa, getting the wireless
Broadcom NIC working ... , but the CHROOT one could just kick start me this
side ...

Well the LinkSys, will give me a wireless access point I can play with and a
ADSL router should I need a second ... , and is just barely affordable ... ,
the Atom on the other hand will give me something I can do more with, but is
around double the cost ... :-( <sob sob> :-))

Hmm ... , I have a Laptop SMC wireless NIC here, which I believe uses the
Atheros chipset, and a PCI/PCMCIA adapter which fits it nicely ... , no
possibility of changing the antenna ... , but better than nothing I suppose
... <BG>

Right'o ...

As long as it keeps me off the "Net" and busy for awhile ... , thus saving my
wallet some agony ... <BG> , you have no idea how tempted I am by that Atom
board ... <sigh>

MK> Yeppers! One problem with the eeePC; I seem to have lost sight of

Now that is strange, maybe they made some hardware changes as well, between
the different models, and that is what is causing you grief ... :-(
