Have not found any e-sata add-on boards that have the Sil chip you mentioned, 
but have found some VANTA boards, which use different Sil chips ....

correctly by a kernel upgrade shortly after I aquired it  ...

Just put that into both local "comparative shopping" sites, and got no hits 
..., which does not mean it is not available here, just that it is not 
"freely" available ... :-(
