I'm mobile, just not "upwardly". <L> The bus is full of the aforementioned
tools and "junk" right now, so it goes only so far to deliver those tools to a
work site, unload some junk or pick up more of either. The past two summers, I
was almost empty enough to install a new floor into the pig, when the rest of
life got in the way. /-:

As far as the 24-28V amps, I saw a web page about upgrading components in them
to make them almost hi-fi. The trouble is, the page was written in Japanese so
I couldn't tell if they were only swapping caps. Time will tell if I scrub the
Scenic Cruiser dream, and settle for a Voltage doubler in the existing ride.

Simpler, would be to rip the sound system out of the compact, and re-convert
the bus to propane but, we're back to the spending monies to get there from
here.

I have a dongle (SMC?) in the briefcase, dual-boot computer using the same
driver.

Expect to drop your resolution. Them "consumer grade" displays use NTSC
composite at 512 by somewhere around 400.

I think I have 9V regulated cigarette lighter type cables in one of my piles
here, which can run my briefcase project. 9V can also drive a LCD display I
payed too much for, specifically so I can run 1024x800 off the alternator. Now,
just to see if they - the alternator and cables - can handle the Wattage I'd
like to put in the cottage.

If it's anything like here, it usually involves organic fertilizer and the
stuff that goes into it.
