What's off?

Aha.. I did also start doing Fidonet on a 386.. So replace XT by 386 :)

 > Yeah but then you're transmitting to 220V/110V.

MK> Right. I think most of them use steam powered generators.

Steam? Not gas driven generators?

How big is the Island?

Ah yes, dependencies to GUI sucks. Sometimes you can't install deb packages
because they are compiled agianst the GUI, but they can run without. It's
a pain in the ass..

 > Ah I still see there is problems using x86_64

MK> Not really. It's everyone else that has problems. The good stuff

Yeah, but I bet most of the problems origins from closed-source software.

 > Yes, perl and python interpreters and libraries is quite big..

MK> Far more than that. A trimmed down stock perl with no docs or
MK> additional modules is 36M in a pure 64-bit enviroment. At the moment I

That's simply too much for an embedded environment!

 > Let me know how it went... :)

MK> Worked good until I tried to boot it. I think busybox's util-linux
MK> stuff is a tad out of sync. Works good in a chroot enviroment.

Aha

Bo
