Yeah, I'm familiar with this sort of syntax but in my case
links came compiled though I had the foresight to spring for the source
disks as well.

Wow, to another console you say?
I've got a way to go about this but your system seems slicker.
BTW, saved to my text directory.

This I like about MultiMail, you can save to any text file
anywhere you provide the absolute path and in the case of
an existing file, for instance my /home/text/url.txt it appends to the 
existing file.

When I got the firewall program to reject ping I just cat ping >> 
to the existing firewall and commment out a couple of lines. 
After making it owner root and executable first.

Way cool how that worked right off the bat.

It's crap.
Sorry to be so direct but it's truth.
Of course like Ray at RAC Computers said, he makes most of his money
fixing Windows software though he said if he had his way he'd
only work on Linux boxes.
