I started with Slack... It still one of my favorites, but now I run
Debian.  I don't care if I have the "Latest/Greatest" so, Debian suits
me just fine.  I also like its updating capabilites better.  I've heard
that Slack was working on something of the kind, but haven't run or
played with Slackware more than in install, "Oh, thats nice" and wipe
and install Debian, in a couple of years now.

I don't have the latest KDE, Gnome, or any of that.  Its all nice and
such, but, I like the Stability of Debian.  Tried and tested to within
an inch of its life.  :)
