There's some kind of rush?

Actually the only thing I'm actually drooling for is that PCMCI WiFi card
to use my Linux laptops at the local library. 

I was just reviewing my computer wants and needs listing this very morning
and come up wanting only a flash memory card and aforementioned PCMCI
WiFi card.

$60 bucks U.S. should just about do it. 

Thereafter I'm building for supplimental income Linux only machines.

OK, you _could_ install Windows but why would anyone?

I just looked at Ubuntu 10.10 for 386 on up this morning and it seems
ideal for the less geek minded out there.

Very low learning curve to surmount.

Oh I'll get back to you presently private email however your address not on
this machine.

It's on the Emachine T2984 I just resusitated and that machine is a bit light
on memory at 512, sweet spot 1 Gig.

So until I find an excuse to power down this one to modify and finally button
it up
I won't be messing with the Emachine.

Besides I butchered something trivial in the setup on that one
that'll take a few moments to repair.

Brand new fresh install right off my first burned at home data DVD plus a
legacy
Linux installation already on the second physical drive. 

The Emachine now sports a 450 watt power supply and the motherboard just
survived
the hit.

A capacitor or two on the motherboard depolarized and it was flaky for a bit
but
they repolarised and she settled down saving me soldering in tantalums. 



... It's not easy being green.
