Yes, I use a windows program currently, don't remember what it is, and short 
of unplugging this monitor, and moving it to the WIN box, it's monitor has 
recently "died" and I don't have anything to plug in to it, not that I use it 
that much. must try pdf2html on linux sometime, and for those that are 
"protected" print to a poscript file and the use ps2html, I do believe that 
such critters exist. Normally I view *.pdf files on the WIN box, and work on 
my Linux box along side it. A bit of a waste of a system, but ...

Hmmm .. they reduce the colour depth and limit the resolution in favour of 
smaller files, which is fine, if they want encourage people to download them, 
but I really would appreaiate being able to download, the full unadultrated 
file if it is an extensive topic like the BASH scripting howto, and it is 
something I regard as a reference worth using.
