We had a simular start, although I came much later onto the scene.  My first

I hear you on the age thing though.  It's the same situation up here.

Amen.  Me too.

I like the LFS stuff, do things different then them, but think it's a great
idea and well worth exploration wrt learning Linux.  I learned more by doing
that then from all other Linux distributions combined.

My neighbour does something simular with Win98.  No money in it though.

I use ttylinux for roughly the same reason but even that I customize for
whatever reason.  I think things like that are a great idea, especially for
purely networking purposes including the internet.
