Hello Maurice.

23 Sep 05 19:36, you wrote to me:

Well, joe writes the msg. to a tempory file which gets tossed to the msgbase
when joe exits, what ever msg storage is used, text file, msgbase
(Squish/JAM/SQL) does not matter, same method can be used, matters not which
editor is used either. "joe" has the advantage that it understands WordStar
commands, and can be configered so that it does not shell out to the OS.

As for the customer always being right, well, that carries only so far, as the
customer is worth keeping as a customer, beyond that he is toast ... .

As for external garbage it is a case of, "Spock, put up the shields, will ya'"
<grin>

 MK> Right. Stinkin' dependancies eh?

Ever tried compiling AND installing smapi as a user .... <grin>, figure I am
going to have to figure out how to build static versions .... <sigh>

Well I like this game, and it does not have a native Linux version, it being a
Micro-Soft game probably explains why no Linux version is available, but if I
can get around to getting it to run under wine, which I understand is
possible, I would at least not have to reboot to WINXP to play it with my son
over the network.

Games programmers not only know how to get the best graphics out of a system,
they also are not shy about telling you you graphics card doesn't cut it for
their game. :-)
