Right.  Should be no problem there other then if the kernel doesn't have the
proper ide thingy for pcmcia at it's disposal.

That seems to be happening.  Quite a few of the older embedded devices will
have problems reading the over 512M ones though.  Not an issue with linux
though but possibly some bios's on older systems.

Booting from a pcmcia directly is a pipe dream ... so far.  However they can be
made bootable for a target from the pcmcia slot and that is all that really
matters in the final analysis.

Really?  My ISP has nothing to do with my email.  You must be talking about the
host server of minimalinux.org.  Beats me why they'd bloack you and not all the
spam from Outlook Express users.  Why are all the spammers Windows users?  Mind
you that makes it easier to filter email at my end of things.
