Hence the reason I asked. I saw nothing closer in the Mandrake release from
whence it came.

Hey, no hurries. I just found the kernel driver docs. (See previous)

GUI... I started with fluxbox here, but being so new, I wasn't making any
progress. Enlightenment may be my final home, but until I can sort its
configuration, I have to settle with Gnome for the time.

If I don't have a "sticky" note, two terminals, one or more instructional
doc... Having a text editor open with five different config files also seems to
be the norm here, and I sure aint fond of learning how vi can do _that_ for me!

Ya, ya, <Alt-F#>, but if I can't see both info and subject, with references on
both sides, I aint learnin'.
