I was pretty unclear on that. I did actually mean.. "filtered out from the 
Internet." :) I know that's one of the great things about Fido is lack of 
spam.

Okay. I kind of figured there was other ways to access Fido besides a BBS, 
but I didn't know exactly how.

Interesting. I didn't know there were also a lot of moderated ones as 
well. I thought most of them were unmoderated.

I think the awareness of BBS existence has to be up before one takes the 
initiative to learn. :) Not that I really feel there's much to learn.

want to get the basics down of how to telnet into a BBS and use it; most people

I speak with have never even heard the term BBS.
