Hey James!

Stinkin' Future Shop!

JB> Now where did I put that scsi farm? <G>

I've got an older DEC external scsi array with six 2G 50-pin drives and two
power supplies handy if you don't mind listening to all the clicking noise they
make. Picked it up for $10 Canadian in Victoria. It works but I don't use it.
I was thinking of gutting it and using the trays for tiny little computers and
calling it a cluster farm but haven't done anything with it ... yet. I am not
sure I am going to. You could pick it up when you get here if you want.

MK>> Sounds like fun. I'd like to see that in action.
 JB> So would I. <LOL>

Yeah, I think I know exactly what you mean.

MK>> an extra driver for win98. Couldn't say about any other

For sure. I only know of one machine still running that version. She can keep
it although I'd willing take the motherboard, ram and P3 off her hands. I
wouldn't trust the harddrive but would wipe it clean and give it a shot.

Ouch! I hate when that happens.

MK>> Sounds good. Nice to get out every once and awhile to see

I hear you.

MK>> them. Also we're a tad exposed here on Coffin Point.
JB> Shoot, sounds like you need a patch on one eye, and a parrot on your
 JB> shoulder.

I was thinking about getting a parrot and the way the old eyes are getting
along these days I probably could put two patches on, one on each eye, and not
tell the difference ... much. :-/

ARRRRRRR!

JB> Us guys? I'm a mere mortal, and use a modem.

Someone has to. Sure glad it isn't me. ;-)

JB> Four bounces back, with two probable successes. Reply to any you see,
 JB> please?

Haven't seen anything. Did you try all the addresses?

JB> The pointy end of a scabbard, ye salty dog! I swear, I'm going to
 JB> look you up
JB> on a map. I checked the national one I have attached to the door, but
 JB> it
 JB> doesn't contain enough detail.

I doubt it would show up on there. Actually it is a small point attached to a
much larger one called Yellow Point. It is the seaside of Ladysmith Harbour
and has a small lighthouse on a rock just off Coffin Point. Very nice despite
what the name might suggest.

Hm. I am extremely pointy here now that I think about it.

Life is good,
Maurice
