Paul Rogers nailed it.
I lack the library ncurses n.n.n whatever release.
Eliminating the -f helped a lot as well.
Currently downloading Knoppix 4.0.2 ISO dialup with wget, 70 Meg today
another 70 tomorrow, ect until I get the whole 726 Meg<g>

I believe it was the -f that messed it up.
Now it gets past the colors subdirectory and halts on interface.

I suppose it happens but a neighbor works for the government,
he';s required to hit them with a sledge hamer then incinerate them,
SCUI drives with nothing wrong with them too :-(

I had to really work to get it as I had a dirty pair, some 12 -14 calls
to the phone company, much runaround then finally success when the
customer service person couldn't understand me for the noise in the
background.
