Ärende: An idea

Hello Wayne!

Despite the fact that you hate my guts because of my own constitutional rights
to believe as I shall choose..

I have my old Fidonet Mail Hub box sitting in the corner..

Its in a super tower case, 3 foot plus tall.

6 externally accessible 5 inch bays, and many more internal 3.5 inch bays plus
the floppy. 2 of the 6 5 inch bays are occupied by a CD burner and a 250m ZIP
drive. Others have hdd's concealed behind a cover.

I want to say the machine has 4 maybe 5 hdds of various sizes in it. I cant
remember precisely, Its been 2 years since I used this machine. Yes it has a
secondary drive controller card in it, PC100 I want to say.

The processor is a Pentium II 333mhz, I got it in 1998. I have the RAM maxed
out at 384megs.

Installed on it is Suse Linux 7.2 in addition to the Fidonet software.

I suppose it needs a new CMOS battery.

I want to say the hdds are a mix of 13.6gb to 80gb.

I utilized all the hdds by mounting them to the filesystem as needed.

/      root
/fido  hdd
/fido/misc  hdd
/fido/files hdd

etc (no not /etc)

So the fido folder is actually a separate hdd apart from root. and misc and
files are both separate drives mounted under /fido.

I imagine that replacing the CMOS battery, plugging a kb/mouse and monitor up
is all that is needed for it to fire up, it was working the day I shut it down.

It even has a ethernet card and 2 USB ports.

This machine is not doing me any good, its taking up space behind my recliner
and I am spoiled rotten on my 3 3+ghz machines.

I have still another box with Suse 9.0 on it, that would be an emergency
machine.

Are you interested, I wont want $$ for it other than perhaps shipping?
