I think it should be cleared and why it isn't is likely due to the reserved
partition you last reported that sounds to me like a bootloader thingy.  I
don't think it is a virus.

Okay.  I would zero that as well.  I doubt it is helpful or useful to you.

Compactflash?  It has been around for awhile now, mainly used in certain
digital cameras and handheld devices for storage.  Since then there has been a
whole slew of other flashdisks leap onto the bandwagon just to confuse
everybody is my best guess on that.  :-/

They make excellent ext2 boot disks for Linux, especially for loading off the
disk directly into ram.  A sight to behold.  I have been doing it for ages now,
as well as a few other type flashdisks, usb being the latest now that the
motherboard people have finally caught up.

Please check it out and see what the explaination for it is.  I am sure I once
knew but too many senior moments have happened since then and now.  All I know
for sure is that it is normal.

No llfmax here.  It won't fly here since it isn't Linux as well as it being
married to obsolete hardware, either floppies and now CD's.  :-)

Probably a good idea.  I need to learn some more.  I doubt it'll hurt ... too
much.

Yeah I just updated mine not too long ago.  It didn't hurt any.
