It was a bit of a hassel since the bios didn't let me disable the onboard
graphics and I had to build a special kernel for it as the kernel I was using
thought I really wanted the onboard one.  I managed to convince it that the pci
Matrox is the primary display but now iptables is broken and I had to disable
that for now.  No big deal to me since there isn't any need to have iptables on
this machine at the moment as there is no internet access to this machine.

A bonus;  I found a working pci bt848 tv card!!!  Works awesome ... again. 
Beats me what people see in the newer tv cards given the display possiblities
of xawtv with this particular chipset.  A bit of a hassel but in this case
worth the extra effort.

Right now I am having issues with mga_vid on the 64-bit machine but fbdev and
the standard x11 or xv seem to work okay.  Not a big issue to me at the moment
given other kernel issues.  On the plus side it has nothing to do with mencoder
but I still need to get more pressing issues resolved before worrying about
MPlayer and friends.
