Yeah, well, they got the roof on just in time, before the next rain storm 
arrived, fully with a steady low wind ... , probably to avoid more damage 
andfurther claims ... , dragging their heels on carpets ceilings and repaint

Well as I cannot "operate" on the modem I have no idea who/what/where is 
trying to connect to it - the PCMCIA cardbus wireless nic I got to-day does 
not fit in the adapter I got from you ... :-(((

BUT ... I do expect it to fit in my bother-in-laws laptop which is currently 
running ubuntu linux, will see to-morrow after work ...

No unkown almost permanet connects on your interface, here I don'tknow whether 
is one or more systems in reach of my router/adsl modem ... <sigh>

The router is in "bridged" mode, and my IP-COP box connects to the ISP thru 
it, and my network is behind the IP-COP box, but the wireless interface is on 
the router/modem and until I know more about the "others out there, I cannot 
start even using it ...
